Mia Sala Farm Tour.
25/06/2025
I Invite You to the Place Where Our Cosmetics Begin — My Field
Here you’ll find French lavender and Bulgarian roses in bloom, birds singing in the trees, and our beloved roosters crowing in the distance.
But be ready — this is not a museum, a tourist attraction, or a flower showroom.
Almost everything is done by me: I grow the plants, distill essential oils, create formulas, and produce natural skincare under the Mia Sala brand. My husband and children help where they can — mowing, assisting with small tasks, and supporting the work we do with care and love.
Don’t expect a show. Come to experience a real organic field, where I avoid chemicals and aim to live in harmony with weeds and insects, not against them.
What Awaits You?
French lavender — blooms from June 10 to 20, filling the air with its fragrance
Spanish lavandin — blooms from June 20 to 30; tall, beautiful plants often mistaken for traditional lavender
Bulgarian rose — from May 10 to 30, our most popular season for visits
Cactus — I’ll explain why this became my favorite ingredient for shampoos, and how it nearly "took over" Australia
A deep dive into aromatherapy and natural skincare made in Spain
Lovely photo spots and cozy corners — perfect for pictures, rest, and inspiration
And of course — the sounds of nature: birds chirping, roosters crowing, and sheep bleating
How the Tour Works
We meet at our farm, located right next to the hotel and restaurant Mas De La Sala
Address: Ctra. C-16, salida 59, Planes de La Sala, 08650 Sallent (Barcelona)
Summer Schedule:
– Every day at 9:00 AM or 7:00 PM, when the sun is still soft
Up to 12 participants per day
The tour lasts around 40 minutes. Afterward, we rest, drink as much herbal tea as you like (free of charge), and talk about our story, values, process, and products.
You’re welcome to test the cosmetics, ask questions, and — if you'd like — purchase your favorites.
You can also stay for lunch at the nearby restaurant (optional, paid separately).
What to Bring
– Comfortable shoes (this is a field, not a park)
– A hat or cap for the sun
– A light snack (we provide tea only)
Photos and videos are welcome — because these are moments worth remembering.
